Born and raised in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Hayley Warden is a versatile and passionate musician who has made her mark on the music scene in the Yukon. Hayley moved to the Yukon nearly 13 years ago, where her career blossomed in unexpected ways, transforming her from a self-taught piano player into a sought-after bass player and bandleader.
Though Hayley grew up in a non-musical household, she discovered her musical talent early on. As a child, she found herself drawn to the piano in her home and, much to her surprise, could play by ear. It didn’t take long for this gift to extend to other instruments as well, fueling her desire to explore music in new ways.
Her move to the Yukon marked a turning point in her musical journey. Hayley began to explore the world of bass playing, first with stand-up bass and later with electric bass. Her dedication and natural talent quickly led her to form The Lucky Ones, a band that would become her first major musical project in the Yukon.
With a passion for collaboration and a love for bringing people together through music, Hayley has become a well-respected figure in the Yukon music community. Whether on stage with her bands, teaching new musicians, or organizing local gigs, Hayley’s energy and enthusiasm continue to inspire others to pursue their musical dreams.
A true artist with a love for fun and creativity, Hayley Warden’s journey in music is a testament to the power of following your instincts, taking risks, and always embracing the next adventure.
